Experience history up close:
On this day, bring the venerable “Pfalzgrafenstein” to new life, together with the actors, who - dressed in historical costumes - will immerse you in a bygone era! Guided tours in costume are offered multiple times throughout the day, where you will learn a lot about life in this unique castle – right in the middle of the Rhine.
In the castle courtyard, the dance group “Lavandula” not only presents old dances but also invites children and adults alike to join in. As a special highlight, the group offers a dance course in the afternoon from 3 - 4 PM to teach historical dances. The “Spielleut Ranunculus” will also create a lively atmosphere as they perform with drums and bagpipes, lutes, and hurdy-gurdies around the premises.

In the upper fortifications, the fairy tale woman has made herself comfortable and tells tales of wild knights and beautiful castle maidens. Be careful, she has enchanted many!

The passenger ferry operates from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM (last return trip from the island).
